This policy covers the rclone personal backup OAuth client operated by Alpha Origin LLC ("the app").
Only its owner uses the app, to back up their own data. There is no public sign-up.
With the owner's consent, the app uses the Google Drive scope to access the owner's own Google Drive. It uploads encrypted backup files and downloads them to verify their integrity. Data is encrypted before upload, so the files stored in Drive cannot be read without the owner's private key.
Google user data is used only to store, retrieve and verify the owner's backups. It is not used for advertising, analytics or profiling, and it is not used to train AI models.
Google user data is not sold, transferred or shared with third parties. Files pass only between the owner's computer and Google Drive.
OAuth tokens stay on the owner's computer. They are never published or shared.
The owner can revoke the app's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
This site sets no cookies and has no analytics.
